Noise & Vibration Consultant (Rail Infrastructure)

Locations: Birmingham, Leeds, Manchester, Newcastle or York (50/50 office/home)

Our client has an opening for a qualified Acoustician who enjoys working on and applying their skills to rail infrastructure and highways framework projects.

Working alongside the N&V team lead and with colleagues from the wider 100+ strong Environmental team – you will focus on the delivery of high speed rail infrastructure projects both in the UK and overseas (including high speed trains in Saudi Arabia and further afield).

Although direct rail noise & vibration experience would be advantageous, training will be provided to candidates wishing to work in this area – who already have 2+ years’ experience working in consultancy on environmental / highways / industrial / construction noise assessments.

The role offers hybrid working of 3 days in the office / 2 days from home – and candidates should reside in the Birmingham, Leeds, Manchester, Newcastle or York regions.
