This is a fabulous opportunity to work for an independent multi-discipline environmental consultancy from their offices north of Manchester. Working alongside the Managing Director, you will be responsible for leading a small team of Acoustic consultants whilst helping to steer and develop the Acoustics business unit moving forward.

The team are involved in all aspects of acoustics work such as battery storage facilities, residential schemes and mixed use developments. The team conduct site noise surveys and assessments in line with legislation (BS8233 / BS4142, BS5228) – the majority of the work is repeat business from a loyal bank of clients.

Must have skills and experience for this post -:

• Building Acoustics detailing and design experience
• Experience of writing complex noise chapters for large EIAs
• Staff mentoring / management experience
• The ability to cultivate client relationships and win work
• You will hold a relevant degree (Acoustics / Physics / Science) and hold Corporate membership of the Institute of Acoustics
• You must possess your own vehicle and a full UK driving licence.

Candidates must reside (or easily be able to move to) the North West area (Manchester / Lancashire areas).
