Acoustic Engineer – Central London

• Acoustic Engineer – Central London (50/50 hybrid) – up to £45,000 + profit share

Our client is a highly successful independent energy, sustainability and building services consultancy. They are seeking an acoustic consultant to join their growing team Building Acoustics team in Central London.

The company work on some fabulous projects, such as a huge Biodata / R&D campus, high end prestigious residential schemes and hotels / hospitality / entertainment spaces.

As such, this role would ideally suit an Acoustic Consultant with a strong background in Architectural / Building Acoustics – who wishes to work an better projects in a great team!

Candidates will ideally have between 3 to 5 years experience, and comfortable project managing their own projects. You will be an integral part of the team and be expected to actively contribute to the success of the Acoustics unit.

Your responsibilities will include planning and undertaking acoustic surveys at locations throughout the UK, data analysis, and technical reporting. You will also be client-facing, presenting acoustic advice to architectural design teams and colleagues. You will also provide technical support and guidance to Graduate team members.

Skills required:
• An undergraduate degree in Acoustics / Mechanical Engineering / Physics / Maths
• 3 to 5 years experience of working in Acoustic consulting
• Technically minded with strong maths skills
• Excellent writing and communication skills in English
• Full UK driving license
• AMIOA / MIOA membership
